Now Is Good, Trailer and Information

Tessa is like every other sixteen year old; she'd love a boyfriend and she'd like to lose her virginity as soon as possible. Her best friend Tessa encourages her wishes. There is a difference, however: Tessa has leukaemia. She was diagnosed with it four years ago but has recently learned that it is terminal.

She decides to come off her treatment and compile a bucket list on her bedroom wall, which includes the wishes: 'find a boyfriend'; 'lose my virginity'; etc. Unlike her family, Tessa has accepted that she will die: her father is in denial and is reluctant to let Tessa complete her list; he even researches expensive, last minute treatments that are located in America. Tessa's younger brother, Cal, is torn between jealousy at the attention she's getting and sadness at her impending death.

Tessa recruits her neighbour, Adam, to help her realise her wishes. The pair end up going out and falling in love, two of Tessa's wishes. It cannot last forever, though, which is why Tessa is determined to live her life to the full before it's too late.

Now Is Good is based on the bestselling 2007 novel Before I Die, by Jenny Downham.

Starring: Dakota Fanning, Jeremy Irvine, Paddy Considine, Kaya Scodelario, Olivia Williams, Joe Cole, Franz Drameh, Julia Ford, Tom Kane, Patrick Baladi, Rakie Ayola
